Nielsen, Glenora Ann [Broderick] – It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Glenora ‘Glenny’ Nielsen on Thursday December 1, 2016 at the age of 71 years.
Born on September 26, 1945 in Haileybury to the late William Broderick and to the late Lily Yaremchuk, Glenny loved her family and her fur babies. She also loved fishing, painting and any time spent with her family and friends.
Predeceased by her parents and by her siblings Doris, Ronnie and Jim, Glenny will be lovingly remembered by her children Barb Nielsen [Mike], Cindy Laidlaw, Brad Nielsen [Jen] and Lyal Nielsen [Elaine]. Lovingly remembered as Granny Glenny to her eight grandchildren and to her seven great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her brothers Ken [Sal] Broderick and Bob Broderick.
As per Glenny’s wishes cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to join Glenny’s family for a Celebration of Life on Sunday December 04, 2016 from 11:00am – 2:00pm at the Brethour Township Community Hall.
