GLENN D. WALLACE
With heavy hearts and wonderful memories, we announce the passing of Glenn Dutton Wallace, of Three Mile Plains, Hants County, on Saturday, December 2, 2017, with his family by his side.
Born on January 2, 1936, in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, he was the son of the late Dutton and Emily (Hayes) Wallace.
Glenn enjoyed the great outdoors and was very involved in his community. After retiring from the finance industry, he was owner and operator of the Martock General Store. He was a widely recognized member of the Masonic Fraternity, as a Past District Deputy Grand Master, Hants County.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen Colleen (Fedora); his children, Lee-Ann (Rob) Miller, Little Shemogue, NB; twins, Mike (Cheryl) Wallace, Hammonds Plains and Melanie (Donnie) Billard, Lakelands; grandchildren, Ben, Katie and Drew Miller (Stephanie); Melissa and Brandon Wallace; Hannah (Claude) Bolton and Isiah (deceased); siblings, Jack (Ellis) Wallace; Ron (Rosemary) Wallace; Debbie (Murray) Eckstein; Randall (Alama) Wallace; several nieces and nephews.
Uniacke Lodge #128, A.F. & A.M. will hold a masonic service at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, followed by the funeral service, both in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0, with the Rev. Bill Gibson officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Glenn’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
