Gladys Irene McConnell, of Mount Forest, passed away at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Monday, November 20th, 2017 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Wes McConnell. Loving mother of Barry McConnell and his wife Wendy of Kitchener, Lyle McConnell and his wife Jean-Marie of Surrey, B.C., and Dale McConnell and his wife Kim of Mount Forest. Cherished grandmother of Ryan, Melanie, April and Ian McConnell and Michelle Walsh. Great-grandmother of Logan and Grant. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Anne Litt and her son Richard McConnell. A service celebrating Gladys’s life will be held at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Friday, November 24th at 1 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 12 – 12:45 p.m. Interment of cremated remains at Palmerston Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
