Gladys Edna Botten
Gladys E. Botten, 98, of K. E. Spencer
Memorial Home and formerly of Shediac Road, passed away peacefully at
her residence on Wednesday, December 20,
2017.
Born in McKees Mills, she was the
daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Gesner)
Farrell.
Gladys was a loving wife, mother,
grandmother and sister. She was a member of Harrisville United Church
and enjoyed spending time with her friends and
family.
Gladys will be sadly missed by her
sons, Don (Susan) of Riverview and Brian (Cheryl) of Moncton;
grandchildren, Catherine, Karen, Kelly, John, David and Andrew; six
cherished great grandchildren; sister, Eileen Steeves of Riverview;
son-in-law, Eilson Trenholm and several nieces, nephews and extended
family members.
In addition to her parents, she was
predeceased by her husband, Clifford C. Botten (January 2006);
daughters, Patricia Eileen (1952) and Anne Trenholm (July
2016).
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home,
1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday, December 28, 2017
from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour
Gladys’ life will be held at Harrisville United Church on
Friday, December 29, 2017 at 1:30 pm, with Rev. Charlotte Youland
officiating. Reception following the service. Interment will be in
Hillside Cemetery, McKees Mills in the
spring.
In memory of Gladys, donations to the
Harrisville United Church or a memorial of the donor’s
