Bathurst – Gilbert Caux, 61, of Sycamore
Ave, Bathurst, passed away on Sunday December 18, 2016, at the Moncton
Hospital.
Born in McLennan, AB, he was the son of
the late Lucien and Thelma (Brulotte)
Caux.
He worked as a Denturist in Bathurst and
Campbellton for over 25
years.
Besides his wife, Geraldine Cormier
Caux, he is survived by four children: Christine Rochard of Vancouver,
BC, Michel (Nicole) of Yarmouth, NS, Melanie Powell (Adam) of
Huntsville, ON and Daniel (Andrea Peer) of Stony plain,
AB.
Seven grandchildren: Savanah, Kahlan,
Jodan, Mikeal, Cambria, Jack and
Eliot.
Two brothers: Denis Caux (Sue) of
Edmonton, AB and Laurent Caux (Michelle) of Ottawa,
ON.
Five sisters: Lucille Ketemer (Allan),
Juliette Lussier (Marcel) of McLennan, AB, Jeanette Durand (Gerry) of
Abbotsford, BC, Angele Brost (Daryl) of Kalona, BC and Doris Dempster
(Dan) of Medicine Hat, AB. Several nieces and
nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Elhatton Funeral Home
(www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral service will be held
at on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 2 pm from the Evangel Pentecostal
Church, Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Gilbert may be
made to the Hugs for Kids or a charity of the donor’s choice.
