Gertrude was born on the family farm in the Ruthilda district Janyuary 27, 1927.She is survived y son Larry (Beatrice) Brown: Daughters: Faye (John) Rundell, Christie (Paul) Ogrodnick, and Roxy Junkin, daughter-in-law Gail Brown and Denise Brown (Simpson); son in law Richard Vetter, sister-in-law Gerri Beirnes and Barb Denise, and sister Joy Hinchliff,, six grandsons, six granddaughters , nine great grandsons and nine great granddaughters. She was predeceased by sons Jack Brown(2015), Ray Brown (2002), Allan Brown (2007), daughter; Bonnie Brown (2005), son-in-law Bruce Junkin (2010), brothers; Harry Beirnes and Fred Beirnes sister Viola Waddington, brother in laws Art Waddington and Keith Hinchliff and her parents Eunice and Gordon Biernes
