Après une longue vie extraordinairement active, est décédé le 19 octobre 2017, à l’âge de 92 ans, madame Gertrude Robillard Fontaine épouse de feu Maurice Robillard. Elle est partie paisiblement et entourée de ses enfants.
Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Luc (Lise Lapointe), Louis, Marie et Charles (Lucie Lefaivre), ses petits-enfants, Pascale, Émile, Jean-Philippe, Estelle et Benjamin.
Selon ses volontés, une cérémonie intime sera célébrée ultérieurement.
