Peacefully, with her family by her side, at Roberta Place Long Term Care, Barrie, on Monday May 29th, 2017. Gertrude (O’Leary), in her 100th year, beloved wife of the late Robert Brown and Joseph Maher. Loving mother of Zita Anne Longhurst, Hugh (Wilma) Maher, George (Nancy) Maher and pre-deceased by her son Jack Maher and daughter Rosemary Lovering. Remembered with love by her daughter-in-law Jackie Maher. Sadly missed by her 14 grandchildren, her 29 great-grandchildren and pre-deceased by her grandsons Chris and Michael Maher. Dear sister of Laura and the late Harold Seager, the late George and Frances O’Leary and the late Greg (Sheila) O’Leary.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Wednesday May 31st, 2017 from 6-9 pm.
