Gerry Schwerk 15 décembre 1929 – 7 mars 2017

Schwerk, Gerry of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on March 7, 2017 at the age of 87.
Born in Ratibor, Germany, December 15, 1929, he was the son of the late Julius and Martha (Mikulla) Schwerk.
He retired after 29 years with Ford Credit Canada Limited in Oakville, ON and moved to Moncton in 2011.
Gerry is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Elizabeth (Wilmot) Schwerk, daughter Irene, brother Dieter (Christiane) Schwerk, two grandchildren and one nephew in Germany.
He is also survived by his in-laws Allen (Kay) Wilmot, Malcolm (Brenda) Wilmot, Debbie (Vernon) Kierstead, many nieces and nephews and their children and grand-children.
Aside from his parents, Gerry was predeceased by his former wife Ingrid and his two brothers; Herbert and Peter.
A Memorial Service will take place at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Saturday, March 11th at 2:00pm. Interment will take place at Fair Haven Cemetery. Donations in Gerry’s memory may be made to Wilmot Memorial Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s choice.
