It is with great sadness that the family of the late
GERARD WALSH of Little Bay announces his
passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Sunday,
October 15th, 2017, at the age of
66. Leaving to mourn with fond and
loving memories are wife, Adele of 42 years; sons, Glenn (Melissa) of
St. Philip’s & Gerard of Paradise; daughters, Gina
(Andrew) of Mount Pearl & Lana Hartson (David) of Salt Pond; 3
grandchildren: Brandon Hartson, Madison
& Gabriel Walsh; sisters, Bernadette Drake, Geraldine Hodder,
Theresa Morris (Patrick), Marilyn Walsh & Mary Greene;
brothers, Bart (Elizabeth), Frank (Gladys), Wayne (Linda), Beaton
(Debbie), Luke & Brian; plus a large circle of extended family
and friends. He was predeceased by parents,
Luke & Mary; brother Arch; brothers-in-law, Alphonsus Drake
& Bernard Hodder; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Walsh &
Jeanette Walsh; parents-in-law, James & Alice Hartson; nephew,
Barry Walsh.
The Walsh Family will be accepting visitors at
Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Marystown on Tuesday, October
17th, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00
p.m.; Wednesday, October 18th, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00
p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial
will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on
Thursday, October 19th, at 10: 30
a.m. Interment will follow at
Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Little
Bay.
In Gerard’s
memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (1037
Topsail Road, St. John’s, NL A1N 5E9) or flowers gratefully
accepted.
