À l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston, le 4 juin 2017, à l’âge de 81 ans et 9 mois, est décédé M. Gérald « Gerry » Charron, domicilié à Edmundston, fils de feu M. Georges J. Charron et de feu Mme Gertrude Ouellette.
Il laisse dans le deuil ses filles: Lynn Charron et Cathy Pearson du New-Hampshire ME, ses fils : Michael Charron de la Colombie-Britannique et Danny Charron d’Alberta, ses frères et sœurs : Georgette Robichaud (feu Fidèle) de Moncton NB, Robert Charron (Feu Claudette) d’Edmundston, Rachel Pelletier (Feu Pat) de Fort Kent ME, Fern Charron (Janice) d’Edmundston et Roger Charron (Marise) de Moncton NB, ses petits-enfants ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il repose maintenant auprès de ses parents, et ses frères et sœurs : Donald, Jean-Guy, Nicole, Monique et Jeanne D’Arc.
Ses funérailles auront lieu le samedi 17 juin 2017 à 11 h en la Cathédrale Immaculée-Conception avec l’inhumation au cimetière paroissial.
La famille de M. Gerry Charron accueillera parents et ami(e)s à compter de 19 h vendredi le 16 juin 2017 à la Résidence funéraire Bellavance du 153 chemin Canada à Edmundston. Les heures de visites seront vendredi de 19 h à 21 h et samedi de 9 h à 10 h 30, 11h étant l’heure des funérailles.

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, June 4th 2017, Mr. Gérald ‘’Gerry ‘’ Charron of Edmundston passed away. He was the son of the late Mr. Georges J. Charron and of the late Mrs. Gertrude Ouellette.
He is survived by his daughters: Lynn Charron and Cathy Pearson from New-Hampshire ME, his sons: Micheal Charron from British-Colombia and Danny Charron from Alberta, his brothers and sisters: Georgette Robichaud (Late Fidèle) from Moncton NB, Robert Charron (Late Claudette) from Edmundston, Rachel Pelletier (Late Pat) from Fort Kent ME, Fern Charron (Janice) from Edmundston, and Roger Charron (Marise) from Moncton NB, his grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers and sisters: Donald, Jean-Guy, Nicole, Monique and Jeanne D’Arc.
Resting at Bellavance Funeral Home, 153 Canada Road in Edmundston NB, with visiting hours, Friday June 16th 2017, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday June 17th 2017, from 9 to 10 h 30 a.m. His funeral service will be held Saturday June 17th, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Cathédrale Immaculée-Conception in Edmundston NB.

Gerry was a fine gentleman and a mentor for me in getting my Glider and Private Pilots licenses. Many of the boys from our Air Cadet Squadron owe him a debt of gratitude for his teaching and flying skills. He inculcated and reinforced in me a passion for aviation that will remain with me to the end of my days!
Rest in peace CI Gerry Charron!
