Faubert, Gérald (Gerry) 1925-2017
The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday March 25 2017, at the age of 92 years. Son of the late William Faubert and of the late May Lavigne. For 62 years, Gerry was a loving and caring husband to Béatrice Faubert (née Paquette) of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of Daniel (Noreen) of Ottawa, Marc (Tracy) of Vancouver and Luc (Pam) of Sudbury. Also survived by his brothers Léo, Normand and by his sister Jeanne, he was predeceased by a brother Edouard and a sister Yvette. Gerry was a well-known and respected contractor, having built homes in the Valley East area of Sudbury for many years. He leaves a rich legacy of hard work and dedication to family. The Faubert family will receive friends at the Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday March 28, after 2pm. The funeral service will follow at 3 pm. in the funeral home chapel. In memory of Gerry, donations to Au Château would be appreciated. (cheques only)
