Lovingly Remembered
Georgina Jean Rae (Rae) Hewitt beloved wife of Mr. James Peter Hewitt of Calgary passed away suddenly at the Foothills Hospital on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the age of 76 years. She was the loving mother of Charlene (Calvin) Sawkey of Calgary and will also be dearly missed by her two granddaughters Jenna and Haley.
She will also be lovingly remembered by her brother John Hargrave (Vera Colville), nephew Jack Hargrave and best friend Alice James-Davies as well as extended family and her many friends. She was predeceased by both her parents, George and Jeanette Hargrave. Her greatest joys came from family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home (1605 – 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Rae’s name to The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, The Kidney Foundation or Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.
