George Taylor Millar – 1924-2017

At Stewart Memorial Home, Tyne Valley on Wednesday, April 5,
2017 of George Taylor Millar, of Birch Hill, aged 92 years, dear
husband of the late Wilna (nee Dyment). Born in Tyne Valley on
December 7, 1924, son of the late Arthur E. & Florence
(Ramsay) Millar.
Dear father to Margaret (William) Bagnall, Central Bedeque;
Arthur (Marilyn), Summerside and Brenda
Millar,Charlottetown.
Loving grandfather to Susan (Sheldon) Collicutt, Kathryn
(Todd) Loerick, Harold (Arlene) Bagnall, Christine (David) Gallant,
George Bagnall, Korey (Stacey) Millar, Colin (Julie) Millar, Stephen
(Nicole) Millar, Ashley (Kris) Mullins, along with 12 great
grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
George is also survived by brothers and sisters in; Priscilla
Ramsay, Summerside; Laura Phillips, Arlington; Rowena (Alton) Ramsay,
Kensington; Ruth (Heath) MacLennan, Port Hill, sisters in law Joan
Millar (Shelton Ramsay), North Bay, ON and Joyce MacLennan, Port
Hill.
Predeceased by his parents, wife Wilna (2012); son Herman,
brothers Erland, Don, John, Sidney, Edgar; sisters Helen MacKay, Ferne
Sheen, Velma Wooding and Orell Montgomery.
Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with
visiting hours Sunday 6-9 p.m. Funeral service Monday at the Tyne
Valley Presbyterian Church at 11am. Interment will follow in the Tyne
Valley Presbyterian Cemetery.
