Obituary for George Talbot
Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de George Talbot le lundi 30 octobre 2017 à l’Hôpital de Smooth Rock Falls à l’âge de 95 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son enfants, René (Lina) de Cochrane, Rhéal (Esther) de Sault Ste. Marie, Claude Talbot et Cécile Talbot; ses petits-enfants: Paul (Trish), Patrick (Ocean) et Christianne (Sergay); ses arrière-petits-enfants: Cassidy, Tucker et Jackson; deux soeurs: Aline Lalonde de Val d’Or et Lorraine Beaudet de Fauquier; et deux frères: Simon Talbot de Moonbeam et Gérard Talbot de Hull. Il fut prédécédé par ses trois épouses : Irène, Bertha et Émilda; ses parents: Paul et Amanda Talbot; une sœur, Irène Noël; et un frère: Philippe Talbot.
George reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette vendredi de 14h à 16h et samedi de 9h à 11h. Le service funéraire aura lieu le samedi 4 novembre à 11h00 dans la chapelle du salon funéraire avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. L’inhumation des cendres suivra au Cimetière de Fauquier. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Société canadienne du cacner. ©
We regret to announce the death of George Talbot on October 30, 2017 at Smooth Rock Falls Hospital at the age of 95 years. He is survived by his children: René (Lina) of Cochrane, Rhéal (Esther) of Sault Ste. Marie, Claude Talbot and Cécile Talbot; his grand-children: Paul (Trish), Patrick (Ocean) and Christianne (Sergay); his great-grandchildren: Cassidy, Tucker et Jackson; two sisters: Aline Lalonde of Val d’Or and Lorraine Beaudet of Fauquier; and two brothers: Simon Talbot of Moonbeam and Gérard Talbot of Hull. He was predeceased by three wives: Irène, Bertha and Émilda; his parents: Paul and Amanda Talbot; one sister, Irène Noël; and one brother: Philippe Talbot.
George will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 4th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Interment of ashes will follow at the Fauquier Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. ©
