George Sillib
Sillib, George Elwin – Peacefully at Maitland Manor, surrounded by family on Thursday, November 30, 2017 in his 90th year. Predeceased by his wife E.D.Ilene (Sproul) in 2016. Loving mother of Bruce (Marsha) Sillib and Sharon (Jim) Sanders. Dear grandmother of Lisa (Gord) Zubyck, Mike Sillib (Tanya Shepard), Krystal (Sean) Tucker, Roxann Sanders (Joe Powell) and seven great grandchildren and their dog Abby. Also survived by sister Majorie Patterson, brothers and sister in law Delmar (Judy) Sproul and Gary Sproul. Predeceased by parents Harvey and Ellen (Jones) Sillib, and brothers in law Lester Patterson and Ronald Treleaven. Also predeceased by two brothers in law and two sisters in law. A special thank you to Maitland Manor for all of their care and compassion shown to Dad and his family. A celebration of life will take place on December 28th, 2017 from 2 – 4 p.m. at the McCallum and Palla Funeral Home (11 Cambria Road North, Goderich). Interment Colborne Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Dialysis 95+20, Huron Residential Hospice or to the charity of your choice.
