George Konecny, 94
George Konecny, 94, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 1, 2017 in Brampton, Ontario, surrounded by his family. He was born April 6, 1923 to Fridrich and Augusta Konecny in Zvolen, Slovakia. On November 26, 1966 he married Helen Ivan in Toronto, ON.
George is survived by his wife Helen; his son, Peter and wife Deanna; daughter, Diane and grandchildren Christina and Alexander; his sister Edita Marisova and family and brother-in-law Ondrej Ivan and family.
Visitation will be held at Brampton Funeral Home, 10061 Chinguacousy Rd., Brampton on Monday December 4th from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. The funeral mass will be held at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Parish, 5255 Thornwood Dr, Mississauga at 10:30am on Tuesday, December 5th, followed by interment at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Rd., Mississauga, ON.
