Kennedy, George Cuthbert – Peacefully at the Temiskaming Hospital on Saturday morning, March 18, 2017; George Kennedy of Cobalt passed away following a brief illness at the age of 82 years, Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Jane [nee Shaver]. Dearly loved father of eight children: Sandra [and Evan] Taylor of Renfrew, Donald [and Margaret] of Alberta, Jane Kennedy of Cochrane, Dave [and Lynn] of North Cobalt, Linda of Cobalt, John [and Dianne] of Cobalt, George Jr of Cobalt, and Krista of Alberta. Dearly missed by her twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
The Kennedy family will receive friends at the Buffam Léveillé Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 10:00am to 12:00pm and 2: to 4:pm. In keeping with George’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Cremation will follow at Lakeview Crematorium. Memorial contributions to the Temiskaming Hospital Palliative Care Room will be gratefully acknowledged. Condolences, tributes and memorial candles may be left at www.buffamleveille.com.
