Obituary for George Ernest Dolinsky
As we say goodbye to George there are many many more who wait to say hello.
Passing before him was his wife, Anne; mother, Dora; brother, Albert; sister, Vicki; nephews, Gary, Terry and Randy, brothers, Paul, (best friend) Peter and Bill; sisters, Mary, Helen, Olga and Anne.
George is survived by his daughter, Carol (Tony); and granddaughter, Laura; and numerous nieces and nephews. George was many different things to many different people but we will remember him as a person who always put the needs of others before his own and whose many lovely qualities outweighed anything else.
Special thanks to Dr. Senez, Dr. Capton, David Tertrauh, Mark and Orlean for their kindness, caring and wholistic dedication to the profession and their patients. Thanks to all those individuals who supported daughter Carol and George over the years as George battled many health crisis’.
Family and friends may pay their respects Thursday, October 19 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
Private Interment will take place at a later date.
A Celebration of Life will take place on or around March 6, 2018 which would have been George’s 90th Birthday. In lieu of all other tributes, we ask that you take a few minutes to write a note to your MLA and the Alberta Minister of Health strongly encouraging them to invest more dollars into Alberta’s health care system so that we may improve the lives of the sick and the elderly in Alberta for the years to come.
