On Saturday, December 24, 2016 George Erling Cook of Bonnyville passed away at the age of 84 years.
George is lovingly survived by his wife of 63 years: Joan Cook of Bonnyville; four children: Laura Kelly of Bonnyville, Tracy Cook of Edmonton, Doug Cook of Edmonton, Andy Cook of Innisfail and their families; sister: Lois Steen of Regina, SK.
George was predeceased by his parents: George & Hazel Cook; son-in-law: Terry Jewell; daughter-in-law: Joanne Cook; three sisters: Shirley (John) O’Connor; Hazel (Jack) Redman, Jean Dewar.
Memorial Service, Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 1 p.m. at St. John’s United Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Reverend Stephen Sparks officiating. Honorary Urnbearers: Duane Hite, Gordon Hanna. Final resting place, St. John’s United Church Cemetery, Bonnyville, AB.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in memory of George may be sent to the charity of one’s choice.
