Obituary for George Allan “Al” Good
Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Sunday, November 12, 2017. George Allan Good, at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by his wives Shirley (nee Byers) and Rhea Kirkland. Dear father of Ruth Lockett (Steve), Brenda Moore (Gary), Larry Good (Diane), and Shelley Plooy (Bill). Fondly remembered by his ten grandchildren, Shawn and Lisa Lockett, Amy Lockett, Joey and Lori Tye, Mike and Dawn Tye, Becky and Mark Plumb, Stephen and Jeff Good, Josh and Meg Plooy, and Bailey Plooy. Also missed by 14 great-grandchildren and by his sister Wilma Hutt. Predeceased by his siblings Grace Lydon, Shirley Stethem and Lorne Good.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Rd. 15, Maitland on Wednesday, November 15th from 1-3 and 6-8 pm. A ceremony celebrating Al’s life will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 1 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Brockville General Hospital Rebuild Fund will be gratefully acknowledged.
