Obituary for Gary Russwurm
Gary Lloyd Russwurn passed away peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Saturday, August 26th, 2017 in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Margaret Ann. Dear brother of Ken (Tina) and Barb Russwurm. Brother-in-law of Don (Kathy) and Doug McNabb. Gary is also survived by several nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews.
Gary was well known in the Muskoka area for his years of service with Hydro One, and as an avid outdoorsman. He was a skilled canoeist and enjoyed regular fishing excursions in Algonquin Park.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Reynolds Funeral Home in Bracebridge on Wednesday August 30th, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Gary’s life will take place at the South Muskoka Curling and Golf Club on Thursday from 2 – 4 p.m. with speech’s at 2:15. As your expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Charity of your Choice.
