It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Leonard Uliski on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Brandon Health Centre, at 61 years of age.
Gary was born August 20, 1956 in Humboltd, SK to Alfred & Genevieve (nee Schimnosky) Uliski.
Gary was a kind and generous man. Gary’s ability for technology was something that was joked about, those that knew him can refer to his mixed up texts. He had a fascination with free TV, it became a hobby, even though we spent more on getting everything going. His true passion was his motorcycle.
Gary’s first job was with Hydro, he then was a miner at INCO in Thompson for 20 years. Once in Dauphin he worked for PRVSI for 17 years and had retired from there.
Gary was predeceased by his mother, grandparents, aunts uncles & cousins.
Gary is survived by his wife Diane; son Shawn (fiancé Tammy Beals) and his brother Troy, and their mother Kathleen; three sisters Marie Uliski of Thompson, Kathy Uliski of Dauphin, Sandra Spencer (Neil) of Thompson; two nieces Mandy Safronetz of Winnipeg, Jennifer Spencer of Winnipeg; nephew Jason Spencer of Calgary; two great nephews Dylan & Grayson Safronetz; as well as many aunts, uncles & cousins
Memorial Service was held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 10:00 am from Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin, MB with Pastor Howard Burnie officiating. Interment followed in Eldon Cemetery in Gilbert Plains, MB.
