1949-2017
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce
the passing of Gary H. Antworth, 67, formerly of Woodstock NB. Gary
passed away peacefully in Fort McMurray at the Northern Lights
Regional Health Centre on Thursday, May 19, 2017. Gary was born
September 26, 1949, the son of David Antworth and the late Geraldine
(Foster) Antworth.
He leaves behind two daughters and a chosen daughter, Andrea
Antworth, Fort McMurray, AB, Amanda Kennedy (Scott), Fort Murray AB,
and Stephanie Bruder (Eric) Pincher Creek AB. Gary was a loving and
proud Papa/Grampie to eight grandchildren, Kasey, Aleah, Helena,
Alisha, Savannah, Tristan, Keagan and Kayden, four brothers, Brian
(Melanie), Rosedale, NB, Dale (Doreen), Rosedale, NB, Kevin (Wanda),
Rosedale, NB, Brent (Lisa), Debec NB, sister, Dianne, Rosedale, NB,
several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gary was predeceased by his mother, Geraldine (Foster)
Antworth.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral
Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road
Jacksonville NB on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 5 PM to 8 PM. Funeral
service for Gary will be Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 1 PM from The
Carleton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held in the Greenwood
Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to
Gary’s niece Amy Montgomery as she continues to fight her
battle with cancer.
