Frederick “Fred” William Talbot
Frederick “Fred” W. Talbot, 66, of
Lakeville, Westmorland Co., passed away peacefully at the Dr.
Georges-L.Dumont University Hospital Centre on Wednesday, February 22,
2017. Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Mary
Talbot.
Fred was a Transport Truck Operator, most recently with
Clarke’s Towing Ltd. Fred loved NASCAR, tinkering with
anything and everything and spending time with his family and friends,
especially with his grandchildren. In the 1980’s he coached
Little League and led the team to a few championships.
Fred will be sadly missed by his daughter, Wendy Talbot and
son, Jamie Allain; grandchildren, Clarence John Talbot, Ryan Richard
and Emily Richard; sisters, Trudy Bailey and Cheryl Talbot;
brothers, Craig Talbot, Troy Pozdzik and Aaron (Talbot)Tynes. In
addition to his mother, he was predeceased by sister, Marie MacDonald
and brother, Danny Talbot.
A Service to celebrate and honor Fred’s life will
be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
(858-1995) on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Lawrence
D. “Larry” Hartley officiating. Reception in the
Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred’s memory to
the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Online
