It is with sadness that the family of Fred
Marshall Taylor, 94, of Salisbury and formerly Second North River
announce his passing on Monday, May 29, 2017 at The Moncton Hospital
surrounded by his family.
Born May 20th, 1923 in Second North River, Fred
enjoyed life as a farmer, operated the Second North River Co-Op Store
for a time and retired as a carpenter. Throughout his 94
years he kept busy as part of the Federation of Agriculture, a 4H
leader, a Deacon of the Second North River Baptist Church, as well as
finding enjoyment in many hobbies such as woodworking, gardening and
quilting.
Fred will be dearly missed by his family; beloved
wife of 68 years, Marjorie (Lewis); sons Hugene (Anna), Martin
(Cheryl), John (Cindy), Alan (Cathy); daughters Joanne Taylor and
Susan Jones (Danny); grandchildren Amanda, Vincent, Holly, Andrew,
Thomas, Rachel, and many nieces and nephews. He was
predeceased by brother Claude Taylor (Fran) and an infant
daughter.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route
106 (372-4800), where there will be visitation Sunday, June
4th from 5-8pm. Funeral will be at the Second North River
Baptist Church on Monday, June 5th at 2pm with Pastor Robb Hunt
officiating. Interment at the Monteagle Cemetery.

River Baptist Church or the Monteagle Cemetery would be appreciated by
the family.
