1931-2017
Fred Norval Giberson of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away peacefully at
Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on August 24, 2017.
Fred was born in Arthurette, NB, on September 20, 1931. He was the son
of the late Frank and Helen (Wright) Giberson. Fred leaves behind his
special friend, Heather MacPhee; his daughter, Lana Van Beelen of
Hampton, NB; his sons, Terry Giberson (Deborah) of Bathurst, NB,
Kenneth Giberson (Line) of Mason, Ohio; his grandchildren, Jason
Perry, Phillip Perry, Emily Legacy, John Giberson, Christine Giberson,
and Andrew Giberson; sisters-in-law, Leona Giberson of Plaster Rock,
NB, Donna Giberson of Arthurette, NB, and Lucy Landry-Giberson of
Strathroy, ON; one aunt, Irene Giberson of Perth-Andover.
Fred was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Geneva Giberson
(Tomlinson); his sisters, Madelyn McNeil and Frances McCarty;
brothers, John, Garfield, Wendell, Arthur, Vernon, Burton, and Kenneth
“Pete” Giberson.
Resting at the Tobique Chapel with visitation on Thursday 2-4 and
6:30-8:30 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 1,
2017 at 11 am from St. Andrew’s United Church in Plaster Rock, NB.
Rev. Fran Bedell officiating. Interment will be in St. Helen’s
Anglican Cemetery, Licford, NB.
A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at the Tobique Chapel on
Thursday at 6 pm.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
