Obituary for Freada Giese
Freada Giese of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Gerald Giese, passed away on Thursday, January 26th, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Freada leaves to cherish her memory one son, Calvin (Leila) Giese; two daughters, Melinda (Paul) McNie and Vivian (Douglas) Fox; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Art (Bernice) Schmidt and Marvin Schmidt; two sisters, Alice Gerber and Delores (Jim) Mutschler; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Freada was predeceased by her husband, Gerald; her parents, Adam and Ida Schmidt; two brothers, Otto Schmidt and Harold Schmidt; and one sister, Elsie Beck. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2017.
