Frank Penner – 1927 – 2017

Obituary of Frank Penner
Passed away at his home at Parkwood Mennonite Home on Monday September 11, 2017 at the age of 90 years. He is now at home with his Lord, reunited with his wife (Anne 2010). Devoted father of Dennis Penner (Brenda) and Karen Penner (Neil Wilson). Cherished grandfather of Derek Penner, Craig Penner (Courtney), L. Denae Penner, Julie Cullaton (Nick), and Rachael Witzke-Prendergast (Steve). Beloved great-grandchildren Cohen, Opal, and Cullen. Also survived by his sisters Frieda Goertz, Anneliese Kroeker (Menno). Will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters in law. Deeply missed by his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers Peter (Elsie), Walter, John (Marg) and sister Elvira who passed in infancy. Also predeceased by his parents Kornelius and Elizabeth Penner.
Frank was a long-time member of Kitchener Mennonite Brethren Church.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Parkwood Mennonite LTC for their care and compassion for Frank (Dad) over the almost two years spent at his final earthly home and the considerate and generous spirit of caring shown to him and all of us, his family, during his final days.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Frank with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday September 14, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday September 15, 2017 at 11 am.
