HARPELL, Frank Graham Age 84, of
Harpellville, Guysborough County passed away peacefully in High-Crest
Sherbrooke Home for Special Care on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Born in
Harpellville, he was a son of the late Howard and Emma (Kaiser)
Harpell. Frank worked at Port Bickerton Industries for 49 years. He
was happiest when all his family were together with him. He is
survived by daughters, Marlene “Betty” (Joshua) Meade,
Halifax; Emma (Emery Smith), Smithfield; grandson, Ivan Harpell,
Harpellville; many nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his
wife, Mary(Corkum); son, Howard; brothers, Roy, Aubrey, David and
Charles; sister, Margaret O’Hara. Visitation will be held
from 7-9 p.m. Thursday in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, St.
Mary’s Chapel, 34 Main St., Sherbrooke from where funeral
service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Derek Elsworth
officiating. Interment to follow in Harpellville Cemetery. Family
flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of
your choice. Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and
compassionate care of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home Ltd, St.
Mary’s Chapel, Sherbrooke. On-line condolences may be made
