GALLANT FRANK – Francis Michael Gallant of Saint John NB, passed away
at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 03, 2017 with his
family by his side. Born in Alberton PEI Francis “Frank”
Michael was the son of the late Emmanuel and Leona Gallant.
Frank was a chef by trade that took him from one side of Canada to the
next, returning to Saint John in 2003 when he went to work at the
Villa Madonna. When Frank could no longer work because of his illness,
he finished his cooking career at the Saint John Regional Correctional
Centre.
Frank is survived by his partner Michael Moniz and step children Emily
and Henry Moniz, brothers Paul (Lynne), Thomas (Glenda), Kenneth, all
of Saint John, NB, sister Laura Lee (Robert) of St. Stephen, NB,
nephews Randy, Mackenzie, and Patrick Gallant, Neils Falkjar, nieces
Sherrie Gallant and Karyn Falkjar, great nephews Tristan Gallant,
Brody & Parker Beyea.
Frank was predeceased by his sister Rebecca.
The family will receive friends during a time of visitation, in
celebration of his life on Saturday, September 9th from 2 – 4 pm
and 6 – 8 pm only at Brenans Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row in
Saint John, NB. A prayer service will be conducted at the funeral home
Saturday evening at 6:30 pm with Rev. Fr. Mike LeBlanc.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 11th at
11:00 am at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Woodstock, P.E.I. Rev. Fr.
Andrew MacDonald will officiate. A reception will immediately follow
in the church hall.
In lieu of flowers donations to the NB Lung Association
nb.lung.ca; would be greatly appreciated by the family. On line
