Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Complex on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 Francis (Frank) P. Cahill, retired Staff Sergeant CID, RNC, Honorary member of the Knights of Columbus. Predeceased by parents Frank and Elizabeth; sisters Josephine (Syl) Fagan, Uriel (Larry) Fagan, brother John; nephews Frank, Bren and Randy Fagan, Ricky and Hilary Gibbons. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his devoted wife of 54 years, Geraldine, sons Robert (Linda), Glenn (Judy), grandchildren Robert, Scott, Hope and Eric; brothers Mike (Madeline), Adrian (Anne) and Pad (Anita); sisters Betty (Lawrence) Butler and Margaret (Hilary) Gibbons; sister-in-law Catherine as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Thank you to the staff of 4 South A at the Health Science Complex for their exceptional care. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay on Saturday from 1 p.m.- 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. Funeral 10 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017 from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay with interment to follow at R.C. Cemetery, Bauline Line. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Newfoundland and Labrador Lung Association in Frank’s memory.
