D’ALIMONTE, Francesco “Frank” (Chick)
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 26, 2017 at the age of 90. Reunited with his beloved wife of 66 years, Rosalia (2016). Reunited with his parents and his 10 siblings. Loving father to Livia DiCarlo, Mary D’Alimonte (late Joe), Antonette Cook (Dave), and Rita Casagrande (Alvise). Proud Nonno to Dana (Randy), Lisa (Harry), David (Stephanie), Ryan (Melanie), Christina (Brian), David Jr. (Natalie), Diana (Craig), Ariana, and Maranda and Great Nonno to Cassie, Carter, Harrison, Logan, David, Alexis, Adam, Ally, Sophia, Jack Ava, and Juliette. Brother-in-law of the late Rocco and Angelina Palumbo, Antonio and Lucia D’Alimonte, Joe and Grazietta DiPaolo, Antonio and Olivetta Conte. Survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends in Amherstburg, Toronto, and Italy.
Frank was retired from General Chemical after 40 years of service and was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.
Visitation at JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Friday December 29, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral will be on Saturday December 30th, going in procession from the Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. for Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
