Frances Marilyn Miller – 2017

MILLER, Frances Marilyn (Marnee) nee Innes – passed away peacefully, at the Rainycrest Home for the Aged in Fort Frances, Ontario on March 12, 2017 in her 86th year. Predeceased by Dr. Douglas Miller (2003), her husband of 48 years, her beloved daughter Laura Lynne (2013) and her brother Gordon Innes (2013). She was a treasured mother-in-law to Trevor Goodall of Whitehorse, Yukon, sister-in-law to Shirley Richardson, a beloved aunt to Sherri (Doug) Luff, Tom (Tracy) Innes, Carolyn (Dan) Daynes, Michael (Vivian) Innes, Terry (predeceased) (Diane) Richardson and Janet (John) Ingram, and a dear friend to Rhoda and Don Dickson of Fort Frances. She was also survived by many cousins and great nieces and nephews. Marnee was born in Simcoe, Ontario to parents Frances and Murray Innes and moved to Dryden, Ontario in 1966 where her husband set up a dental practice. They moved the practice to Fort Frances in 1973 where Marnee resided until her death. Marnee was an avid volunteer in Fort Frances who volunteered on the La Verendrye Hospital Auxiliary for many years. Her and her husband travelled extensively and were also parents to their beloved pet dogs Jason and Teech. A private graveside service will be held in Orillia, Ontario.
