It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Floyd “Buzzy” Gerald Yeo which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, September 29th, 2017. Born 1935, in Summerside, PE, he was the son of the late Thomas and Wanda (Baglole) Yeo. Floyd worked at the Winterport with CPR Truckers and was also a Taxi Driver throughout his career. He enjoyed fishing, playing crib and chess.
Floyd is survived by his daughter Holly (Jay) of Sussex, NB; brother John (Debbie) of Saint John; sisters Lorraine Winik of Hanley, Sask., Dorothy Grant (David) of Musquash, NB, Carole Kincade (Hector LeBlanc) of Saint John, Thelma Yeo of Winnipeg, MB; grandchildren Lily and Charlotte; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, Floyd was predeceased by his brother Melvin Yeo and sister Mary Gallant.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). As per Floyd’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations in Floyd’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
