Floyd McCowan Miller
Peacefully, in the early hours of August 14, 2017, Floyd Miller, beloved husband of Opal, passed away at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 78 years.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel at 1:00 pm led by Shirley McLaren. A private family interment will take place at Austin cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Floyd’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2430 Victoria Ave #3, Brandon, MB R7B 0M5 or to Central Plains Cancer Services, 318 E Saskatchewan Ave, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8 or to a charity of one’s choice.
