HEAD, Flora M. – Died on Thursday December 8th, 2016 at Glenbrook Lodge, Flora May Head age 93. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd Head. Left with cherished memories are her devoted daughters: Brenda and her husband Maurice Devine, Nancy and her husband Robert Stokes. Grandchildren: Michael Devine(Heather) of Victoria, BC and Mary Devine of Toronto, ON, Ben(Harriet) Stokes of London, UK, Jane Stokes(Kyle) of Milton, ON; great grandchildren: Olive, Gideon, and Bessy Stokes; sister Christine Cole of Dartmouth, NS; brothers: Leslie Penney of Carbonear and Adolph Penney (Minnie) of St. John’s: sister-in-law Eileen Piercey of St. John’s; life long friend Catherine Haliday, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral service will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday December 11th, 2016 at 2pm. Reception to follow at Barrett Reception Lounge immediately after service. Donations in Flora’s memory can be made to the Salvation Army, Red Shield Appeal or to a charity of one’s choice.
