Obituary for Fidela Yanto
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fidela Rebancos Yanto on November 28th, 2017 at Seven Oaks General Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Fidela was 82 years old and will be dearly missed by her daughters Marilou Mendoza (husband – Edzel; children – Bien, May, Mylene), Emelie Tonelete (husband – Edgardo; children – Jeff, Nielsen, Johann), and Gemma Wozniak (husband – Jon; children – Kyle, Kayla, Evan), and sons Henry, Arnel (wife – Muriel; children – Dennis, Aira, Althea, Aldrin), Randy (wife – Julie; children – Ranjel, Razel), Arsenio Jr (wife – Odezza; children – Arizza, Arianne, Arionne), and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives from Canada and the Philippines.
Fidela was born and raised in Oas, Albay, Philippines and was predeceased by her husband Arsenio Avila Yanto of 63 years, and survived by her brother Cesar Rebancos. Fidela immigrated from the Philippines to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1990 with her family.
A private Lamay/Viewing for family and close friends will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., commencing at 5:00pm. There will be a prayer service.
