Fernand Baboune Cormier 12 juillet 1949 – 11 décembre 2016

Fernand “Baboune” Cormier of Cocagne, passed away at the Stella-Maris-De-Kent Hospital on December 11, 2016 at the age of 67.
Born in Cocagne, NB, July 12, 1949, he was the son of the late Léandre and Edna (Légère) Cormier.
Fernand is survived by his son Junior (Cathy) Cormier, daughter Sylvie (Roderick) Cormier-Léger, brothers; Léonard (Rachel), Ronald (Laurina), Normand (Diane), Maurice (Louise), Gilles, Joe (Diane), sisters; Bernice (Tommy) Cormier, Ginette (Randy) Bouzanne.
He is also survived by his former spouse Léa Cormier and his beloved grandchildren; Mathieu, Nicholas, Danika and his many nieces and nephews.
Aside from his parents, Fernand was predeceased by his adopted brother Louis Cormier.
Resting at Centre Nouvelle Vie Church, 20 Grace St., Shediac Bridge, with visitation on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral service will be held following the visitation at 7:00pm.
Interment will take place in Fair Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fernand’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
