Our dear father went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017 at 5:04 p.m, ?at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of the late Veronika (October 24th, 2016). Dear father of Veronika (Don) Roswell, Gizella (Kevin) Wilson, and Frank Lakatos (Sherry). Devoted “Apu” / “Nagyapa” to Jennifer (Rob) Uren, Jonathon (Carrie) Roswell, Crystal (Aaron) Smith, Stephen (Becky) Roswell, Laura-Lee (Jason) Lalonde, Benjamin (Aly) Roswell, Joseph (Precious) Roswell, Hannah Wilson (Dillon), Isaiah, Bethany, and Sarah Wilson, Jesse, and his 24 great-grandchildren. He will also be fondly remembered by his other family members in Canada and in Europe, and his friends. Frank was a brake press operator, retiring after 35 years at JI Case (International Harvester). Friends wil be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave on Thursday, Oct. 5th from 7 – 9 p.m., and on Friday, Oct. 6th from 1 – 2 pm. A Funeral will follow, in the chapel, on Friday, Oct. 6th, 2017 at 2 p.m. Interment at Oakhill Cemetery. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice, Hankinson House would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Frank in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
