NIKOU, Fane (née Efthimiou) – Mrs. Fane Nikou on Saturday February 18, 2017 at the Cornwall Community Hospital McConnell Site, Cornwall at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Theodoros Nikou. Loving mother of John and Maria Nikou-Baloukas (Jimmy). Cherished grandmother of Tania, Paul and Theo. Dear sister of Katina Savalas and Vasso Tsoumakas. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Chrisoula, George Efthimiou and Elefteria Argiriou. Fane will be sadly missed by her relatives and friends back in Greece. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-9 PM. The Mass of Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be Celebrated in St. Columban’s Church on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 11:00AM. Reverend Alex Michalopulos officiating. Rite of Committal to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Cornwall, Ontario. If so desired, contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (by cheque) would be appreciated by the family.
