Evelyn Chamberlain – 2017

Bathurst – Evelyn
Chamberlain, 64, wife of the late Paul Bernard, of Bathurst and
formerly of South Tatagouche, passed away peacefully surrounded by her
family on Saturday April 8, 2017 at the Chaleur Regional
Hospital.
Born in South Tetagouche, she was the
daughter of the late Frederique and Florence (Pitre)
Chamberlain.
She is survived by two daughters:
Pauline Vienneau (Gilles Duguay) of South Tetagouche and Francine
Chamberlain (John Paul Gavin) of Windsor,
ON.
Ten grandchildren and one
great-grandson.
A special friend, Lorne Dea of
Bathurst.
One brother, Omer Chamberlain (Marcie)
of Bathurst. Five sisters:
Thérèse Chamberlain of Miramichi Road, Angela
“Angie” Boyd (Mack) of Dunlop, Adeline
“Lynn” Daigle (Darren) of Rough Waters, Evangeline
Chamberlain and Desneige Chamberlain both of Bathurst.
Several nieces and
nephews.
She was pre-deceased by one sister,
Leona.
The family will receive relatives and
friends at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst on
Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Wednesday afternoon April 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from
Holy Family Church, Bathurst. Donations in memory of Evelyn,
donations to the Diabetes Association or a favorite
charity.
