Death Notice
It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of Eva Rosalie Atkinson on October 17, 2017 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of William “Bill” Atkinson. Loving mother of Todd (Bobbi-Jo) Atkinson and Devan Atkinson. Cherished grandmother of Joshua, Brayden, and Danica. Dear sister of Betty (Jack) Martin and Jody (the late Bill) Donavon. Predeceased by her sister Doris (Harold) Wilton. Eva was a longtime member at Paterson Memorial Presbyterian Church, devoting much of her time to charity work with the Circle Six group. She was a simple lady. Eva loved her family, especially her grandchildren who were the joy of her world. Friends and family will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A celebration of Eva’s life will be held at Smith Funeral Home, on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with cremation to follow. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Sarnia & District Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
Visitation
Friends and family will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Service
A celebration of Eva’s life will be held at Smith Funeral Home, on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with cremation to follow.
