Obituary

Eva Daniels passed away April 25, 2017 at Brooks Health Centre – Long-term Care at the age of 96. She was born in Merryflat, Saskatchewan to Moses and Sarah Pettyjohn. She was raised there and in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, where she got her education. While attending Bible College in Robert, she met Robert Daniels. They were married October 17, 1940 and moved to Rolling Hills, Alberta. Eva was active in her church and community. They moved from the farm to town in 1980 where she became involved with the Senior Centre quilters, making numerous quilts to raffle off as fundraisers or giving them away where there was need. She is predeceased by her husband Robert, parents, six brothers, two sisters, daughter; Lynne, grandsons; Andreas and Jagger and granddaughters Betty and Meagan. She is survived by four sons, three daughters, 27 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 18 great- great grandchildren. Funeral services will be May 6, 2017, 2pm at the Rolling Hills Community Hall. As Eva had a passion for people with leprosy, may be made to Gospel for Asia, Leprosy Ministry, 245 King St East, Stoney Creek, ON L8G1L9 or charity of choice.
