Obituary for Esterina Maone (Carpino)
With sadness, we announce the passing of Esterina on November 9, 2017 at Toronto Western Hospital at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Luigi (July 13, 2001), she leaves behind her dear children Frances and Domenic (Franca). Proud nonna of Julia and Luigi and great-grandmother of Jessica. Esterina will be missed by her siblings Rose (Eugenio), Gilda (John), Frank (Gina), Mario, Bernard (Josie). Predeceased by her sisters Helen (Rosario), Lillina (Eugenio), Ida (Michele), and Assunta. Visitations will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Sunday November 12 from 2-4, 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Clare’s Church (1118 St. Clair Ave. W., east of Dufferin St.) on Monday, November 13, 2017. Time to be confirmed. Entombment will follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave. W.). In memory of Esterina, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
