RICHIBUCTO, NB – It is with great sadness the
family announce the passing of Ernestine LeBlanc 70, at the Dr.
Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton on Saturday,
January 28, 2017 surrounded by her loving family and
friends. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the
late Ernest Henri and late Denise (Leger) Henri. Ernestine’s
passion was skating and she also loved walking and biking in her spare
time.
Ernestine will be sadly missed by her husband, Paul-Emile
LeBlanc of Richibucto; three sons, Serge LeBlanc (Lynda) of Montreal,
Bruno LeBlanc (Gabriel) of Moncton, Martin LeBlanc (Gina) of
Richibucto and her special grandsons, Kyle, Michael, Christopher and
Sebastien.
She is also survived by one sister, Carmen Bastarache
(Gerald) of Dixon Point; brother-in-law, Bernard LeBlanc (Pauline) of
Bouctouche and nephew, Benjamin.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister,
Rose-Marguerite.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Friday 2-4
pm. As per Ernestine’s wishes there will be no
funeral service. Donations in Ernestine’s memory
may be made to the construction of the new arena in Richibucto and
would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to
extend special thanks to her close friends, the staff at 3F at the
Dumont and Dr. Chiasson and Dr. Theriault for the care they provided
to Ernestine. Arrangements are in care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home,
Richibucto.
