Obituary of Ernest Hofstatter
Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Mackenzie Health, Richmond Hill in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Anita. Loving father of Robert (Wendy). Cherished Opa of Matthias and Elizabeth. Dear brother of Geoffrey (Lillian), Helmi (Hans), Richard (Maria), Maria and the late Antonia (the late Fritz). Ernest will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
