VAUGHAN, Erma Elizabeth
Formerly of Three Mile Plains, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Ellershouse, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Pearl Murphy.
Erma loved music and she enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. She was a very shy and quiet person who enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family and friends. Erma also enjoyed sitting and relaxing on her deck in the summer.
She is survived by her son, Stephen (Laurie Evers), Dartmouth; daughter, Shelley (Francesco) Troili, Windsor; granddaughter, Katie Harvey (Jonathan Moore), Newport Station; great grandchildren, Jersey and Cailum; brother, Carl Murphy, Windsor; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Erma was predeceased by her brothers, Herbert, Frank, Raymond and Owen; and sisters, Ethel Murphy, Muriel Murphy and Myrtle Anthony.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor, (902-798-8317), where the family will receive visitors from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, April 6. An interment service will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Erma may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
