Eric Pitre – 2017

Beresford – Eric Pitre, husband of Doris
(Doucet) Pitre of Beresford, passed away on Monday April 24, 2017, at
the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of
77.
Born in Beresford, he was the son of the
late Octave and Alice (Aubé)
Pitre.
He was retired after 35 years of service
from the former Brunswick Mines, member of the Volunteer Fire
Department of Beresford for over 25 years and
3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus,
Council 8189, Beresford.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four
children: Daniel (Lucia) of Beresford, Kevin
(Patricia Carrier) of Ajax, Ont., Brian de St-Marie-de-Kent and
Monique Pitre (Patrice Comeau) of Québec,
Que.
Four grandchildren: Danica,
Joël, Sasha and
Joshua.
One brother, Donald Pitre (Marcella) of
Beresford and one sister, Gloria Pitre of Gatineau, Que.
Several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by seven brothers and
sisters: Mildred, Martin, Violette, Alonzo, Jeannine, Norbert and
Lévis.
The family will receive relatives and
friends at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford, on
Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and
Friday, from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral. Funeral
Mass will be celebrated on Friday afternoon April 28, 2017, at 4 p.m.
from Église St-Nom-de-Jésus in
Beresford.
Donations in memory of Eric can be made
to the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital
Foundation or a charity of the donors choice.
