Peacefully with family by his side on Monday, December 11, 2017, of Eric Carl MacKenzie, of Souris River, in his 81st year. Beloved husband for 53 years of Ethel (nee Jackson), and dear father of Derrick (Monique), Daryl (Karen), Cindy (Dean), and Kevin. He will be missed by his grandchildren Curtis (Cassie), Graham (Dekoda), Maggie, Connor, Brett, Kate, Isabella, Dawson, and one great grandchild Amy.
Survived by brothers Harold (Norma), and Basil (Anne). Predeceased by parents Eldon and Olga MacKenzie, and sister Gloria Downe.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home with visiting hours on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 5-8 pm. A funeral service will be celebrated at Bay Fortune United Church on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11:00am. If so desired, donations to the Souris Hospital, or the Lennon House would be greatly appreciated.
